Proposed Modifications May 2005

Proposed Modifications were considered by Cabinet on the 10 March 2005, and by Council at the Council's Annual General Meeting 19 May 2005.

The Proposed Modifications have been on deposit for a six week public consultation period from 13 June 2005 to the 25 July 2005. These will be considered by the Council at the Council meeting on 10 November 2005.

In accord with Regulations, representations will be invited only with regard to Proposed Modifications - the rest of the Plan is not open to further scrutiny. A further response report on the outcome of the consultation will be presented to the Council, anticipated to be in November 2005, when the Council will consider whether to:

Local plan Proposed Modifications Report to Council

Sought approval of the proposed modifications to the Local Plan for public consultation and for their use for development control purposes.

Statement of Reasons and Decisions

Sets out the Councils decisions in response to the Inspector's recommendations. Reasons are given in the schedule where the Council does not agree with an Inspector's recommendation.

Proposed revised text of the Local Plan

Sets out the complete text of the Local Plan showing the Proposed Modifications. Text added is highlighted in bold and text deleted is highlighted in bold with a line through it.

List of Proposed Modifications to Policy and Text

List of all the proposed modifications extracted from the complete Local Plan document. Representations can only be made to the contents of this list.

Proposed Modifications to the Proposals Maps

Contains some of the consequential mapping changes arising from the Proposed Modifications to the text and updated information. Other mapping changes are only available in hard copy or on a CD-Rom due to their large file sizes.
