There are a number of benefits available for people with disabilities, including the Disability Living Allowance (DLA), War Disablement Pensions, Statutory Sick Pay, and Incapacity Benefit .

If you are changing job, it's important to make sure you get a P45 form from your current employer to bring to your new employer. This should ensure you don't end up paying too much tax or if you have overpaid, it is refunded quickly. For further information on P45's, click here
