Stroud District Primary Schools 6-a-side Football Tournament Final 2004
Stratford Park Leisure Centre held the final of the Stroud District Council Primary Schools, 6-a-side football Tournament on Friday 7th May. 48 schools had taken part in group rounds since February, resulting in the following schools reaching the final:
Stroud District Councils Crime and Disorder Partnership, Leisure Services and Valley and Vales Neighbourhood Watch sponsored the competition. Rob Griffiths refereed all games. A good crowd of supporters for all teams watched closely contested games in all initial group matches. This resulted in a final between Park and Sharpness, with Park winning by 2 goals to nil, and taking the Trophy.
Councillors Nigel Studdert- Kennedy and John Hudson presented all team players with medals and footballs.
