1st Chalford Boys Brigade
Description:
We are a uniformed youth group there are two age groups Anchor Section 5 to 8 years old and the Junior section from 8 to 11 years old. We play games, cooking, camping, day trips out, badge work and much more. Our aim is for your son to have lots of fun. There is a weekly cost and we run a tuck shop as well.

Coffee House Discussion Group
Description:
Coffee House Discussions are friendly, welcoming events open to everyone. They attract people of all ages & political and philosophical viewpoints; those with particular views and those who just want to explore where they stand. All opinions and ideas are treated with respect and heard with open minds. The aim is to explore a variety of views, and then get a chance to express your own in a warm, friendly, welcoming environment. We hope that everyone leaves a Coffee House Discussion with a broader understanding of the subject than they came with.
The discussions have been running every month since June 2005; previous topics have included; 'Can we make poverty history?' 'Does Science have all the answers?' 'The end of oil? Stroud in 2020 - Does it have a future?.

The Guild meets to listen to talks about embroidery from throughout the world and holds regular workshops to learn new creative embroidery techniques. It is open to all abilities.

Chinese Boxing - Northern Shaolin Long Fist (Kung Fu)
This class can be taken regardless of age, fitness level or whether you have studied martial arts before.
Classes promote self defence, wu shu, sparring techniques, flexibility, general health benefits. If the student wishes they have the opportunity to study a full grading syllabus & compete

Minchinhampton RDS Football Club
Description:
Senior football club currently running 2 sides in Stroud League divisions 1 and 3 but hoping to bring back a third team next season. Any players and volunteers keen to help make this happen should get in touch.

A well run club with three teams in the Stroud League, we have FA charter status, an under 11s side and enjoy ourselves on and off the field. We meet at the Vine Tree Randwick Thursdays, Saturdays. Training is Thursdays for details contact Phil Stafford
We are a friendly, lively and enthusiastic netball club with teams in Div 1, 2 and 3 of the Gloucestershire netball league. We were Div 1 Champions in 200607 season and would welcome new players of any standard. We are also looking for a qualified coach.

St. John Ambulance, Stroud Division, provide first aid and a range of ambulance
and other care services to the Stroud community and surrounding areas.
We meet every Tuesday evening at our HQ in Stroud, from 19:30 til 21:00 to do our divisional training
and keep our skills up to date. The evening sessions cover a wide variety of subjects, first aid related,
and sometimes of wider interest areas.

Stonehouse is a football club that can offer players the opportunity to play local football at any level. There are currently four teams running, with the first team in Northern Senior and the other three in the Stroud League (Div 2, 4 and 7). Come along and train on a Tuesday and Thursday evening, 7pm start, at the Oldends Lane ground.

Stroud and District Sea Cadets
Description:
The Sea Cadet Corps is a nationwide, voluntary, uniformed youth organisation open to young people aged 12 to 18 years with a junior section for those aged 10 to 12 years. The Sea cadets provide young people with life skills of teamwork, self respect and social responsibility, the core qualities of good citizenship.

The Society arranges a regular series of monthly talks from September to April on the local history in Stroud and surrounding area. These talks take place in the Old Town Hall, Shambles, Stroud.
