As the name suggests, the Generation Games is an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy together the thrill and satisfaction of physical activity, perhaps in a sport or skill they have never experienced before. We hope as many families as possible will make the most of the opportunities on offer and so ensure that this is a truly inclusive day.
The event is taking place on Sunday 24 th June 2012 at Stratford Park Leisure Centre between 9.30am- 3.30pm .
What does it involve?
The Generation Games will involve a carousel of events whereby groups of 25-30 children and adults will spend 35 minutes on each activity. These activities include:
There will also be a number of ‘have a go' events throughout the day, which will offer people the chance to try different events.
