Stroud District Council are excited to present The Generation Games; a chance for young and old alike to participate in a variety of sports and activities.

Where: Stratford Park Leisure Centre
What time: 9.00am-5.00pm
The activities on offer are suitable for all ages and abilities and are being put on by local clubs and deliverers to introduce people within the Stroud district to new and exciting ways to stay active, improve your health and most of all have fun!!
What will be on offer?
All children and adults participating in the event will have the chance to try a range of alternative activities. In groups of 25-30, participants will rotate around a carousel of activities and will spend 45 minutes on each one.
The activities involved in the day's events are:
Within the course of the day there will also be a 'have a go' session for each group. This will offer people the chance to try other events in a less structured format, participants are free to drop in to the following activities and 'have a go' within this session:
How much does it cost?
It will cost £1 per child and £2 per adult(s).
A family of four (minimum ratio. 2 adult: 2 children) will cost £5.

Will I receive confirmation that I/my family have places reserved on the day?
Once the form has been received by Stroud District Council, we will write to let you know whether or not you have been successful in gaining a place(s) at the event. Places are limited and therefore will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Volunteering opportunities
Stroud District Council are looking for volunteers who are over 16 to help run the games. If you are interested in gaining more experience and want to come along and help, download and complete the form and then send or email to Hannah.drew@stroud.gov.uk.
