Corporate Fitness - Fit For Work

"Fit for Work" is a scheme operated by Stroud District Council Leisure Services for companies, businesses and commercial organisations who care about their staff. We can offer a workplace service offering healthy lifestyle advice and fitness assessments direct to your organisation at a time to suit you. "Fit for Work" offers the opportunity to improve the health of your workforce and your business too.

A fit and healthy employee is more likely to:

• Have less time off sick
• Cope better with stress
• Be more motivated
• Be less prone to accidents
• Enjoy increased physical and mental stamina and concentration

"Fit for Work" employs professional and trained staff who come to you, meet, assess and help your workforce.

"Fit for Work" offers your staff a full assessment including tests of:

• Blood pressure
• Height/weight ratio
• Lung efficiency
• Exercise recovery time
• Body fat percentage
• Strength

We also offer advice on:

• Healthy eating
• Alcohol awareness
• Stress
• Smoking
• Exercise and physical activity

Charges vary according to the size of work force and the time we spend with you. Charges are available on request.
