The County Sports Partnership includes the following key PARTNERS:-
The Glospact framework builds on the successful Active Sports Programme (see bottom of page) undertaken by the Gloucestershire Sports Partnership. It is derived from the government's national strategy and includes the priorities of the South West Regional Sports Board. It seeks to complement the Gloucestershire Strategic Plan, local strategic partnerships and local authority corporate sport and leisure plans. At it's heart is Glopact's vision and mission:-

Making Gloucestershire a physically active and successful sporting county
MISSION
Glospact will; be a legally robust, financially sustainable, technically competent, well-governed and fit-for-purpose organisation that enables more individulas and
communities within the county to start, stay, succeed in sport and physical activity, thereby accessing and achieving sporting, health, educational, social,
community and economic benefits.
ROLE
PRE-GLOSPACT - ACTIVE SPORTS PROGRAMME
Active Sports was a 5 year development programme (2000 to 2005) targeting and building on good practice accross the county and delivered the following sports to young people in partnership with Local Authority Sports Developemnet Officers, National Governing Body officers, the County Council and University of Gloucestershire:-
