Housing - Other services

In addition to owning and managing its own housing stock, the Council also carries out a variety of other housing functions:

• Housing Advice - provides guidance on housing options, including dealing with homelessness and allocations on property lets.
  
• Housing Strategy - seeks to ensure a continuing supply of affordable housing for households in housing need throughout the district.
  
• Home Energy Efficiency - explains something about energy efficiency in the home, and provides links to other help for you to manage your home energy use efficiently, so that you can keep warm in cold weather and make a reduced contribution to climate change.
