Authentic Movement Workshop with Anna Thornhill
"A place to experience and embody the richness of your inner world and imagination". Authentic Movement is a deceptively simple yet profound practice in which self-directed free movement is explored, usually with the eyes closed, in the holding presence of at least one witness. The experience of both mover and witness are explored and integrated further through using art materials, writing and sharing. This workshop is led by Alan Thornhills daughter Anna, and the practice has some resonances with the movement work developed by Alan in his sculpture workshops.
