Stroud District Council provides 12 Public Conveniences throughout the District, 7 of which have been recently refurbished to offer facilities that are bright, clean, modern, safe and accessible; these are as follows:
Berkeley – Maybrook Street (opposite the car park)
This toilet block was refurbished in 2003 at a cost of £84,000. This block consists of 4 individual cubicles providing a male urinal, a unisex toilet, a family room and a disabled toilet. These toilets are opened automatically at 7:00 am and closed at 6:00 pm. The disabled toilet is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.
Minchinhampton – Bell Lane (Opposite the Church)
This toilet block was refurbished in 2007. This block consists of 2 individual cubicles providing a unisex toilet and a disabled toilet. These toilets are opened automatically at 7:00 am and closed at 6:00 pm. The disabled toilet is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.
Nailsworth – Old Market (Bus Station)
This toilet block was refurbished in 2008. This block consists of 4 individual cubicles providing 2 unisex toilets, a family room and a disabled toilet. These toilets are opened automatically at 6:00 am and closed at 6:00 pm. The disabled toilet is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.
Painswick – Stamages Lane (Car Park)
This toilet block was refurbished in 2006. This block consists of 5 individual cubicles providing 2 male urinals, a unisex toilet, a family room and a disabled toilet. These toilets are opened automatically at 7:00 am and closed at 6:00 pm. The disabled toilet is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.
Stonehouse – High Street (Car park)
This toilet block was refurbished in 2006 at a cost of £75,000. This block consists of 5 individual cubicles providing 2 male urinals, a unisex toilet, a family room and a disabled toilet. These toilets are manually opened between 6:00 and 8:00 am and closed between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. These toilets are opened automatically at 7:00 am and closed at 6:00 pm. The disabled toilet is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.
Stratford Park (Car park)
This toilet block was refurbished in 2009 at a cost of £85,000. This block consists of 4 individual cubicles providing a male toilet, a unisex toilet, a ladies toilet and a combined family room/disabled toilet. These toilets are automatically opened at 6:30 am and closed at dusk.
Stroud - Bedford Street (behind the Subscription Rooms)
This toilet block was refurbished in 2009 at a cost of £150,000. This block consists of 9 individual cubicles providing 3 ladies toilets, a unisex toilet, a male toilet, a urinal room, a family room and a disabled toilet. There is also one unisex night cubical which will be opening at the end of January 2010, These toilets are opened automatically at 7:00 am and closed at 7:00 pm.
Brunel Mall (Multi-storey)
These toilets are manually opened at 7:30 am and closed 6:00 pm. In addition to Ladies and Gents facilities, this toilet has a disabled cubical which is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.
Cainscross – Westward Road (Car park)
These toilets are manually opened between 6:00 and 8:00 am and closed between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. In addition to Ladies and Gents facilities, this toilet has a disabled cubical which is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.
Dursley – Castle Street (Car park)
These toilets are manually opened between 6:00 and 8:00 am and closed between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. In addition to Ladies and Gents facilities, this toilet has a disabled cubical which is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.
Dursley – May Lane (Car park)
These toilets are manually opened between 6:00 and 8:00 am and closed between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. In addition to Ladies and Gents facilities, this toilet has a disabled cubical which is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.
Wotton Under Edge – Rope Walk
These toilets are manually opened between 6:00 and 8:00 am and closed between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. In addition to Ladies and Gents facilities, this toilet has a disabled cubical which is accessible 24 hours with a RADAR key.

Radar keys are available to members of the public with a disability. Keys can be obtained from Stroud Council offices or the Tourist Information Centre in the Subscription Rooms. Alternatively a key can be sent to your address upon receipt of payment. A Radar key costs £2.50 and proof of disability is required.
