Young people with disabilities from Stroud Schools will participate in Stroud Annual Sports ability Festival at Stratford Park Leisure Centre. The festival is a partnership project between Stroud District Council and Gloucestershire College. Students from Gloucestershire College organise, co-ordinate and deliver the festival as part of their course in Sport and Public Service guides by the Sports Development Officer.
As a result of a district wide audit of disability provision, a new disability sport and physical activity action plan has been created. Further information, including a downloadable version of the action plan is available on our disability development action plan page.
