What if I can't get to the polling station on election day?
If you cannot get to the polling station on polling day, you can apply to vote by post or proxy (a proxy is someone who votes for you). The application forms for these are available to download below:

Postal vote applications must be received by 5pm on Tuesday 19 May to be valid for this election. Existing applications already on our database also cannot be changed after this date.
Proxy vote applications can be received up to 5pm on Wednesday 27 May, unless a medical emergency arises after this date, in which case a proxy application can be made up to 5pm on the day of poll.
