County Councillors

Your County Councillors represent you when taking decisions about County services - such as education, social services, roads, footpaths and libraries.

Within Stroud District there are 11 county divisions (like wards) out of a total of 63 making up the County Council from the six districts in Gloucestershire. County Council elections are held every four years. You do not have to be a district councillor to stand for election as a county councillor, although in practice some candidates are also district councillors. The 11 county divisions that fall within Stroud District are:
