The Redundancy Support Programme is focused on small businesses, particularly those employing 25 staff or less, without the in house HR infrastructure to manage redundancies brought on by the economic downturn.
The fully funded programme, coordinated by Gloucestershire First, is designed to assist employers to build a flexible and responsive package of support for their staff. Advice and support can also be provided to meet the needs of remaining staff.
For further information please view the document below or contact Sarah Danson, from the Redundancy Support Team, direct on 01452 450067.
The University of Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire First have joined forces to launch Graduate Challenge, bringing recent local Higher Education graduates and local businesses together. Graduate Challenge provides an opportunity for businesses to hand pick a recent graduate to undertake a structured four month work placement, to fulfil a relevant project brief.
For those businesses taking part free access will also be available to business support services and guidance on workforce planning linked to the economic downturn, through the University/Gloucestershire First network of partners.
The graduates training allowance costs are met by Graduate Challenge with the only costs to be met by the business being any additional non-pay expenses incurred in delivery of the project eg business mileage.
